The Cradle Box was founded on a simple standard: baby gifts should be as thoughtfully made as they are delightful to receive. We combine newborn-safe natural fabrics, functional garment engineering, and handmade details into keepsake boxes parents genuinely reach for and remember.

Every piece is designed to do its job first — gentle 100% cotton, envelope necklines crafted for newborn proportions, and everyday durability that holds up through real parenting. We pair practical daily essentials with handmade crochet toys and keepsake packaging, ready to hand over without needing extra wrapping.

We started because the good gift didn't exist yet

Every baby shower gift table used to look the same. The default was a lotion pack — safe, familiar, and thought about by no one in particular. Gifting for the first year of a baby's life had become a reflex rather than a decision.

So we started in 2025. Before building anything, we spoke to parents across different segments to confirm the gap was real and not just something we had noticed ourselves. Then we set a bar every product has to clear: something a gifter is proud to hand over, and a parent is genuinely glad to receive — good enough to become the thing they tell people about afterwards.

Who is behind The Cradle Box

  • Himanshu, Founder & CEO

    Involved dad to a 6-year-old, whose first-hand experience of early parenthood during Covid shaped why this brand exists. A digital expert with 17 years across sales, marketing, analytics and product in both start-ups and MNCs, he led and scaled the Fossil Group's online business in Asia. IIT Kharagpur alumnus.

  • Shubhra, Co-Founder & Head of Product

    A founder with deep brand-building experience in India, she previously built and scaled Chumbak from concept to market leadership. Strong product and design intuition, with a clear understanding of what makes products resonate with discerning consumers.

  • Prateek, Co-Founder & CTO

    A mobile veteran with over a decade building apps, developer tools, and early AI experiences. After consulting for brands like The Cradle Box, he partnered with his school and college friend Himanshu to build lean, intelligent systems from the inside. He believes great gifting is never run-of-the-mill, but an intentional gesture that puts a genuine smile on someone’s face.

  • Free Pan-India shipping

    Every hamper ships free anywhere in India. Orders placed before 12:00 noon on a business day are dispatched the same day, Monday to Saturday.

  • Pay how you like

    UPI, credit cards, debit cards and net banking — or Cash on Delivery if you would rather pay when it arrives.

  • 10-day damage guarantee

    If anything arrives damaged, defective or not as described, tell us within 10 days of delivery for a replacement or refund.
